Stanley 32-oz rip hammer – Working Tools: Vintage and Antique Hand

Truly massive rip-claw hammer made for heavy framing work.  Octagonal face. Original handle has partial decal and is solidly anchored into the head.  Original user added a band of friction tape around the base of the handle to prevent slipping -- a damn good idea when you're swinging this bad boy with sweaty hands.
