Help! Simple gripper mechanism for soda machine. Open and shut only - Robot Parts - RobotShop Community

Hi! I have zero experience with any of this but am trying to complete a project. I have a soda machine that Is just for looks. But I would like to be able to set up some sort of simple gripper to hold one can that I can connect to one of the buttons on the soda machine to release it directly in the tray to make it seem as though it works. I need some sort of very simple setup to make this work. A simple gripper and whatever I need to power it. Can any of you experts help me figure out a simple
