On offer is this lovely collectible vintage thermos. It's in good condition overall, the silver plating shines up well still - extensive scuffing and scratching all over however (please refer to images) commensurate with age; notable light ware too which has exposed the base metal but as shown all adding to the aged charm and character of the piece. It's of traditional form, plain in design yet so stylish in appearance. It is of a more unusual form being shaped like a teapot complete with hinged lid. The interior has notably darkened with staining and ware. Marked on the base with instructions for using with both hot and cold liquids. American produced by Landers, Frary & Clark of New Britain, Connecticut, circa second / third quarter of the 20th century - "Stanley, It Will Not Break". It measures 16.5cm (6 and 1/2 inches) handle to spout end and 17.7cm (7 inches) in total height to the top of the lid finial. A lovely retro thermos pot ready to be collected and enjoyed once again!
