You’re looking at a very nice example of a Vintage Lodge #9 Skillet Basting Lid. This lid will fit any “3-Notch” #9 Skillet, and possibly earlier or later #9 Lodge Skillets. If you have a fitment question, please message us! Lodge Was founded in 1896 by Joseph Lodge as the Blacklock Foundry in South Pittsburg, Tennessee. The foundry produced a wide range of cast iron cookware and other items. In 1910, the foundry was destroyed by a fire and was rebuilt and named Lodge. Lodge is still in operation today and remains in the city it started in! Cleaned and Seasoned, ready to display, use, or gift! No cracks, rust, or repairs. Unlike today’s cookware, this piece will literally last a lifetime. Cast iron not only becomes non-stick with use; it will last a lifetime with proper care, adds iron to your diet, is chemical free, and is extremely versatile!
