This is meant to be mounted on side of the pellet hopper. If you attach this anywhere near the barrel of the grill it could compromise the plastic. Tested stable at temperatures up to 130 degrees Fahrenheit. This product has been tested for weight up to 5lbs. As with all my 3D printed items you may see extrusion lines or minor flaws in the finish. This product will last if used correctly but if you happen to run it over , shoot at it, or do anything else it wasn't meant for, it may break and if so you should just buy another one.
