1950s vintage Stanley thermos, half-gallon vacuum bottle w/ old cork stopper

Jun 15, 2018 - Beat to hell yet still fully functional Stanley thermos, 1950s vintage. This is one of the big bottles, for a sportsman or working man's lunch break. The bottle holds two quarts brim-full, a little less when stoppered. The inside looks clean and good, though the exterior looks like it's been through a war, or dropped off a high-rise, or just carried to work everyday for years. It's a great old piece.
