Originally recorded live in the First Baptist Church in Crown Heights, NYC, in 1982 under Celestial Choir and pressed only for the congregation, it was then enlighted by Walter Gibbons, who acquired a copy and played it out at the 7th av. Rock and Soul shop. The Joubert Singers’ version is a re-recording done for Next Plateau, featuring the same singers but done outside of the church choir. It has been recently officially reissued on Favorite Recordings (FVR067), as it was originally.
