An Artisan woodworker like his father, Michel Carré inherited a passion for woodcraft.

In 1980, in the Provence area of France, he was restoring an olive wood table when he discovered the natural beauty of this richly grained wood and its intense aroma of freshly pressed green olives. Noticing the robustness of the olive wood and the natural flavor of olive oil that the wood contains, Michel developed his first line of kitchen utensils with the help of skilled olive wood artisans.

Today, Carré has a large range of olive wood kitchenware made using centenary olive trees that are no longer bearing fruits.

This cutting board has a natural edge. It can be used for chopping and serving.

Durable: Olive Wood is dense and non-porous. It won’t stain or absorb odors. Olive wood utensils are heat resistant and are durable.
