15 oz coffee mug SUBLIMATION Stainless Steel Blank Insulated Tumbler w — Bulk Tumblers

Coated for sublimation, our 15 oz handled Stainless Steel Polar Camel Travel Mug features SureGrip ridging and double-wall vacuum insulation with a clear lid. It is 2X heat & cold resistant compared to a normal travel mug and is BPA and lead free. Tumblers may have the Polar Camel brand stamped on the bottom cap of.

Tumblers may have the Polar Camel brand stamped on the bottom cap of the cup.  Standard lids have the Polar Camel lid shown in the listing photo. Upgraded sliding lids do not have any branding on them.

Polar Camels are made from 18/8 gauge stainless steel (18% chromium/8% nickel - also known as Type 304 Food Grade.)

Our tumblers are similar to all other sublimated products in that the transfer and tumbler surface need to make direct contact and reach about 400 degrees before sublimation will occur.

USING A MUG PRESS:

Note: The recommended settings above may need adjustments for best results.
Settings will vary depending on the mug press brand and model ink and paper
and atmospheric conditions.

2nd Note: Settings are based on a GKDK3 mug press by George Knight.

3rd Note: Be sure that the artwork does not go beyond the size limits of the
mug press.

Supplies needed:
- sublimatable substrate (mug)
- sublimation transfer
- scratch paper
- heat tape

Mug heat press settings:
- temperature - 380 degrees F
- dwell time - 1:00 to 1:15 minutes
- pressure - light to medium

Steps:
1. cut your transfers so that the transfer is slightly larger vertically than
the mug.
2. Position the substrate onto the transfer.
3. Tape two ends of the transfer near the handle of the mug using the heat
tape.
4. Wrap a piece of scratch paper around the transfer and mug taping if
necessary.
5. Center the transfer and mug in the mug press.
6. Close the mug press using the mug heat press settings above.
7. Remove items from the press immediately. Use heat resistant gloves if
necessary - the items will be very hot.
8. Remove transfer and scratch paper.

Tips:
- If the image of the final product appears light increase the pressure or
the dwell time slightly (10-15 seconds).
- If the image on the final product appears blurred or substrate appears
yellowed or has brown spots on the rim of the top or bottom of the mug reduce
the dwell time slightly (10-15 seconds).
- Too much pressure can cause trapped moisture in the paper to jet away
pulling ink with it in a spiked-peaked formation. To avoid this reduce the
pressure.


USING A WRAP AND A CONVECTION OVEN:

Note: The wrap that is used is the same wrap for the ceramic beer stein
(MGWRP2). Do not use the wrap for the 11 or 15 oz ceramic mug as it will not
fit around the handle

results. Settings will vary depending on the oven brand and model ink and
paper and atmospheric conditions.

- wrap
- sublimation transfer
- scratch paper
- heat tape

Mug heat press settings:
- temperature - 400 degrees F
- dwell time - 4:00 - 4:30 minutes

Steps:
1. cut your transfers so that the transfer is slightly larger vertically than
the mug.
2. Position the substrate onto the transfer.
3. Tape two ends of the transfer near the handle of the mug using the heat
tape.
4. Wrap a piece of scratch paper around the transfer and mug taping if
necessary.
5. Place the wrap onto the mug and snap closed.
6. Place in oven and use the settings above.
7. Remove items from the oven and remove wrap transfer and scratch paper. Use
heat resistant gloves if necessary - the items will be very hot.


Tips:

the dwell time slightly (10-15 seconds).
- If the image on the final product appears blurred or substrate appears
yellowed or has brown spots on the rim of the top or bottom of the mug reduce
the dwell time slightly (10-15 seconds).
