If you are one of those monsters who dog-ears the pages in your books, you must stop now for the love of all that is holy.Just kidding.No, really, I'm not kidding.Anyway, whether you are a monster or not, these 9 printable bookmarks are really cute and really useful. And free, so there's that.Here's how I use them:You can print the bookmarks and use them as is, or you can print and color them. We print them on 32 lb paper. It's not as thick or heavy as cardstock, but it has a nice bulk to it which makes the bookmark hold up better. After printing, we color with these colored pencils (I have the 48 pack but wish I had the 72) or these markers, fold in half, and use double-sided tape to secure the long edge. When doubled over like that, the 32 lb paper is flexible but not flimsy and doesn't unnecessarily stretch the book's spine.
