Nambu Tekki cast iron has exceptionally good heat retention and distribution, and has an urushi lacquer glaze, which makes it resistant to rust. These versatile pans can be used in the oven, on stovetop (including induction), and over the grill, and are elegant enough to be taken direct from the kitchen to the dining table.

The pan was designed and forged by master craftsman Nobuho Miya. Miya works in his family’s ironware studio, Kamasada, in the Iwate prefecture of Japan.
