Please don't hesitate to get in touch to find out more! This vintage deep teal bureau / writing desk has been lovingly restored and would make a great focal point in any room. In addition to looking good, it is a practical piece of furniture that offers ample storage by means of 3 large drawers and a large work area. After being cleaned and sanded the external body has been painted in a rich, deep teal which is complemented by the gold highlights I have added to the drawers and drop-down leaf. Inside has been painted in Fusion’s Damask, a soft aged dusty pink. The small drawers have been painted in teal and beautiful vintage floral paper has been added to the back and drop-down leaf to give it the WOW factor. The inside of the drawers have been decoupaged with the same floral paper, which has been varnished to give it more durability. The original hardware has also been sprayed in gold to pull the whole piece together. The whole piece has then been given three coats of varnish for durability. This really is a fantastic-looking piece of furniture! DIMENSIONS Overall height: 102cm Height of desk: 76cm Width: 82cm Depth: 46cm Measurements are rounded up to the nearest centimeter so you can be confident that it will fit into your intended space. If you require additional measurements, please ask and I will be happy to provide these for you. PRE-LOVED FURNITURE This is a vintage piece of furniture has been restored skilfully, with high attention to detail, however, it may show signs of a previous life in the form of background repairs, or may have a dink here and there. This in no way hinders the functionality of the piece and only adds to its character. Freshly painted furniture can take up to 28 days to harden. We advise you during this period to take extra care. The paint used on this piece is waterproof, however, it is still recommended to use coasters and dusting should only be done with a slightly damp lint-free cloth. Any chemicals should be avoided. DELIVERY The delivery cost covers delivery to mainland UK, with the exception of Cornwall and Scotland. Please contact me for a quote if you want delivery to one of these locations. ** Please note that delivery will be made by a 1 man courier company to the ground floor. This means that for heavy items help lifting and carrying will be required on delivery. If you are unable to provide help on delivery or if the item needs carrying upstairs, please contact me before buying as delivery charges may need to be recalculated.
