First, we cut off the top of the keg, round off the edges, and add pegs to create a tightly sealed lid. Then we polish the keg with a heavy-duty wire wheel to really make them shine*.

We recommend buying the bundle with the removable shelf included. This shelf can be used to steam vegetables without them sitting in the broth. It is made from heavy-duty stainless steel with machine-punched holes for proper steaming inside the keg pot. The shelf is 3 inches tall but can be modified upon request.
