Care instructions: Hang to dry in between uses or on a dry towel to allow bristles to drain. Never leave submerged in water as it will wear on the wood causing it to crack or may cause the natural bristles to fall out. We recommend occasionally untwisting the head and allowing the inner portion to dry out fully for longevity. If you leave any of the wood or bristle parts soaking in water, the natural materials will absorb water and it will cause the brush to swell and crack. You can oil your brushes to reduce the potential of cracking if you regularly submerge your dish brushes in water.

If you find your brush is not staying dry, dip the bristles in vinegar occasionally to help kill bacteria. The Moso bamboo is naturally antibacterial but the vinegar will help too.

Once the brush is worn out, the bamboo and plant fiber parts can be composted or buried in the garden.
