Designed by Maestro Richard Sapper who in his own home was in charge of grating cheese for the whole family. Todo has a truncated cone shaft that is exceptionally long and will grate enough cheese to satisfy the requirements for one portion just with one complete stroke. Beautiful in the kitchen and on the table. 4 x 4 x 18 Steel and wood construction.

Circular holes surrounded by tiny teeth tears at the cheese a process particularly suitable for mature varieties such as parmesan or pecorino cheeses. Alessi is a family owned Italian design company founded in 1921. Giovanni Alessi a talented sheet metal worker produced items by hand for the table and home out of copper brass and nickel-silver. He was later joined by his son Carlo who was responsible for many of the designs produced in the 1930s and early 1940s.
